Yeonjoo Kim is an illustrator and storyteller based in Seoul. She enjoys working with her hands, primarily using pencils, watercolours, gouache, and traditional Asian pigments. Recently, she has been exploring new approaches by incorporating elements of Korean folk painting into her work.
She is drawn to philosophy, history, and sci-fi, but ultimately, it is the everyday moments that form the foundation of her work. While she spends a long time refining each piece, she hopes the final works feel intuitive and approachable.
